The sight of a drilled two-piece rotor and brake caliper inside a wheel is always a thing of beauty. They look even better rotating. Well they are now available for your Losi NASCAR! Designed in anticipation of the upcoming IMSA branded Losi cars I thought I’d add these to our NASCAR fleet in the interim. Peeking through the wheels of your Losi NASCAR are now a gleaming set of rotating drilled rotors and red multi piston calipers.
Precisely designed around the parameters of the hexes, uprights, and wheel barrels, everything fits right into place. The rotor slides onto the hex smoothly but with enough engagement as to not flop around. The calipers easily bolt into place in the stock arms using the included stainless socket head screws. Lastly, upon installing the wheel, the hub pushes the rotor into the perfect position to keep it centered between the caliper. The simplest of installations, no noises, no rubbing, and if concerned about rotating mass, all 8 pieces weigh 6 grams combined. Measured against unequipped cars there is no perceptible loss of speed or response, just a 1000% increase in awesomeness. (*percentage may vary)
Each kit includes four calipers, four rotors, and four 16mm stainless M2.5 screws.
